Recent Random Ramblings

Just some little tit bits that tickled my fancy:

Firstly saw this article lifted from the British Newsaper The Times, It relates to the Premiership Referee Graham Poll who recides in Tring ( On Miswell lane actually about 400m from my house) Any who this made me laugh......Mum It wasnt you was it???)

Residents of Hertfordshire town Tring are upset with Graham Poll's inability to stay out of the spotlight. "Once upon a time if you told people you were from Tring, they'd say, 'Oh yeah, that's where Walter Rothschild is from'," said one resident. "Now they say, 'Oh, that's where that bloody referee lives'." (Times)

Poll has had a rough time of it recently what with his three yellow card trick to one player and other boobs whilst reffing prem games recently ha ha ha
Next, Brought Radio Ones Live Lounge CD the other day. It reminded me just how good the old blighty is when it comes to a bit of braodcasting. the Album is a compelation of all the live versions or covers of songs recent artists have done. Its quality and The Kooks doing Gnarles Barkleys Crazy is awsome.
Right lastly, I met and went out for dinner with Paul's Mum and Dad last night for the first time. I have to say it was every bit as good as I had hoped. Accccccccrington Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaannley ha ha. It was really nice and they are so nice.

They are coming round Saturday for an all Australian Barbeque at our place so no doubt the Fosters and Kangaroo meat will be free flowing.

Just Like...Stuff I'm Up To And That

Alright Kids, Thomas FB here reporting from Brisney Land with a little update of whats going down, Down under, Down with the kids, Down on his Luck, Down Town.

Right, Uhhhhhhhh o.k Paul turned 27 last weekend, Jeesus Im mates with some old people. It was Stu's and Regan's Birthdays recently so we have had the odd night out to celebrate. Work is work but not the good type.

Future Plans, O.k Well time is running out on us and as we leave on the 23rd of December we have discovered we have no less than one weekend free till we leave. Highlights of Weekend Activities Include:

Paul's Parents visiting for a week as they are on Vacation in Australia.

Stu's Birthday Bash and The Ashes*

A weekend to the Gold Coast that due to Paul's expert timing happens to coincide with Schoolies Huh funny that.

Peanut and Jackie Possibly visiting on their way down from Cairns to Sydney.

*The Ashes: The Australian Newsapers are no way as bad as The English ones: they are subdivided by states as it is such a large country. However one quality they do share with The Sun is there disdane for any other countries sporting qualities. Already they have started laying into our array of fat, gutless, talentless, bottling cricket players, It is with that in mind that Paul and I are going to the Sunday session of the Ashes at The Gabba to particapte in a little bit of English company, A little bit of Booze and possibly a dash of Cricket.

Then we are into December and the count down to the hottest Christmas Day of my life starts, A few weekends in for saving purposes and one last blow out weekend super stylee massive bring your handbag we going dancing of a weekend for our send off No Doubt!

Love to all
