Mystic Meg Says....

Just a little blog to inform you of what I am up to for the next month or so. On Tuesday the 2cnd of August David, Mark and Claire arrive from England. They will go and stay with Keith's wife Lizzy for the night. On the evening of the 3rd I fly to Melbourne and Kimbo is picking me up. Then on the 4th I will be reunited with 75% of my immediate family. Thomas is very much looking forward to seeing them. Keith is my Dad's fondest friend and is also my sister's godfather. I last saw Keith in April. Dave, Claire and Mark have not seen Keith in nearly 15- 20 years. However Keith works out of the country a lot and is currently in Vietnam ( you can't say that ever without it sounding like they are fighting in a war, Keith's not by the way, he works in telecommunications.)

Anywho, Keith will meet up with us later (I will explain.) After a few days of recuperation in Melbourne we are flying to Brisbane were we will pick up a Caravan, I so hope its one of those big mobile homes like the one in About Schmidt. I can see Dave coasting down the freeway wearing nothing but tighties, a smile and some sunnies....Good times. Not really sure what the plan is but I presume we will stop off at hotspots, a few beaches and the sort.

Whilst all this is going on Paul is staying in Sydney a little longer as he still has work. The bed in our room now vacated....But who is that tucked away in bed.....Its another...Yes...Another....Korean. For some reason it provides me with much amusement, the thought of Paul bunking up with a Korean for 3 weeks. I hope his name is Martin and has liking for sleeping nude. I'm not sure what the policy in Korea is on seeing another man naked, but seeing as Paul has no real qualms about doing it I can only imagine its gonna be a culture shock for the poor lad.

Right so for a few weeks I hope to be quaffing cocktails, relaxing and getting a base tan for the future ( NB Buy the Monkees single: Day Dream Believer.) Then on the 20th of August 2006 our holiday together comes to a peak, a grand finale if you will. The 20th of August as some of you may or may not know is my Fathers birthday (fifty and above physically, mental age unknown.) It is on this day that Keith will fly into Brisbane to meet us, also at this time Paul will fly in. So there will be 6 of us all together to enjoy Davids special day.........

However the potential for another "Alcohol induced embarrassment" is very possible. The thought of my Dad and Keith in a room together for the first time in fifteen or so years, plus a shed load of booze, plus a Paul D Hoskin* and "BOOM".......The anxiety levels are gonna be through the roof. No only joking it should be epic and photos will be taken and posted.

*Paul shares some of Davids finer qualities, its uncanny.

So that's the next month, Will post when we are on the road and no doubt there will be a tale or two to tell in between.
